She was a student in the KSU Journey Honors College, earned first place at Analytics Day, finished third at the Fall 2024 Symposium of Student Scholars, participated in the Birla Carbon Scholars program, and graduated summa cum laude. The self-described science nerd speaks with eloquence and enthusiasm about the work that led her to a bachelor鈥檚 degree in biology last month, and she hopes to take that enthusiasm and knowledge to medical school this fall.

From a young age, Cindy Bishop-Aguilar was captivated by the night sky, spending hours with her grandfather and watching the stars. It was this early fascination with space that would ultimately lead her to 最色导航, where she pursued an engineering degree. At KSU鈥檚 Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology, she charted her course in mechanical engineering with a minor in aerospace engineering, driven by her desire to develop a well-rounded skill set and pursue a career in space exploration.

Following a monthlong nomination and review process, first-year anthropology student Julia Banks and her family were selected by DSA staff to be honored during Family Weekend.

Those passions are his alma mater 最色导航 and his employer New Realm Brewing Co. The partnership between the two has resulted in KSU鈥檚 first licensed beer 鈥� OWL IN, American Lager, launched just in time for the start of fall semester.
